Free → Pro

Your records make the move, not a server.

Free and Pro are separate apps on Google Play, so upgrading is a backup-and-restore rather than an in-app unlock. That's by design — it keeps both editions fully offline. The whole process takes a few minutes, and your data never passes through anything but the file you carry it in.

  1. Back up in the free app

Open Armory Manager, go to the Data tab, and choose Export backup. Set a password when asked — the backup holds your whole collection, so treat the file the way you'd treat the safe's combination.

Save keeps the .zip on the phone; Share sends it to a drive, a computer, or your own inbox. Either works — you just need to be able to reach the file in step three.

  2. Install Armory Manager Pro

Get Armory Manager Pro on Google Play. It installs alongside the free app — nothing is overwritten, and the free app's records stay put until you decide otherwise.

  3. Restore in Pro

Open Pro, go to DataRestore backup, pick the .zip from step one, and enter its password. Every firearm, range trip, maintenance entry, photo and document comes across.

  4. Check the vault

Look over the collection in Pro — counts, photos, history. Cleaning reminders reschedule themselves from the restored records.

  5. Retire the free app (optional)

Once you're satisfied, you can uninstall the free edition. Uninstalling deletes its on-device records, so do this only after you've confirmed everything arrived in Pro — and consider keeping the backup .zip somewhere safe regardless. You now have one, and a second copy costs nothing.
