Privacy policy

We collect nothing. Here's the long version.

Effective August 23, 2026 · Applies to Armory Manager and Armory Manager Pro

The short version

Armory Manager is a local-first app. Your records live in the app's own database on your phone. The app has no account system, no cloud sync, no analytics, no advertising, and no server of ours to send anything to. Data leaves your device only when you export it yourself.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter — firearms, serial numbers, purchase details, range trips, maintenance history, ammunition and accessory inventory, photos and documents — is stored in the app's private storage on your device. No copy exists anywhere else unless you make one.

What we collect

Nothing. The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and does not use the Android advertising ID. We cannot see your collection, your usage, or even whether the app is installed.

When data leaves your device

Only by your own action, and only to a destination you choose:

Anything you share through another service (your cloud drive, your email provider) is governed by that service's own policies from that point on.

Photos

Photos you attach are copied into the app's private storage. Location metadata is removed from every image before it is saved, so a shared record can't quietly reveal where it was taken.

Notifications

Cleaning reminders are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device using Android's local notification system. No push service is involved.

Permissions the app asks for

The app does not request location, contacts, or network permissions for its own features.

Deleting your data

Your data is yours to destroy as well as to keep: deleting records in the app deletes them from the database, and uninstalling the app deletes the database itself. Backups you exported remain wherever you put them — delete those copies yourself if you want them gone.

Children

Armory Manager is a record-keeping tool for lawful firearm owners and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behavior ever changes in a way that affects this policy, the policy will be updated here with a new effective date. Given the app's design, the honest summary — we collect nothing — is unlikely to change.
